Pre & Post Natal Pilates Classes in Subiaco
Pre-natal care & post-natal Pilates at Bodyworks are a great way to stay healthy during and after your pregnancy.
Our classes that are pregnancy and postnatal specifically strengthen the muscles surrounding your pelvis and spine, to avoid back/pelvic pain and to help give your body the best support during pregnancy, to avoid postnatal complications such as abdominal separation.
Our new mums get taught specific and targeted Pilates exercises and education to return to full function post-pregnancy. We work on the pelvic floor, abdominal and glute control. You are welcome to bring your baby up to 6 months old or until they are on the move. You can start attending after clearance from your obstetrician, although a minimum of six weeks post C section is required.
We require an Initial Physiotherapy Consultation in order for you to receive private health rebates, and it also allows us to ensure you are safely exercising and customise your Prenatal class and Postnatal recovery.
We also have Pre and Post Natal Packages that includes your initial assessment and 10 classes. The perfect way to start or to jump back in.
