Flavia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2003 ( Brazil) and she spent the first 6 years working in different areas such as therapeutic horse riding, hydrotherapy, and conventional physiotherapy (orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehabilitation)
In 2008 she opened her physiotherapy and pilates clinic in Brazil, spending 8 years investing in rehabilitation through movement and education.
In 2015 she moved to Australia and started her overseas journey working with remedial massage, pilates, and exercise rehabilitation. Flavia became a registered Physiotherapist in Australia in 2019 and since then she has been working in private practice with physiotherapy and clinical pilates.
Flavia has specific interests in injury prevention and rehabilitation through movement and clinical pilates, scoliosis management, and geriatric physical therapy with an emphasis on the needs of aging adults: prevention, education, and rehabilitation for a better quality of life. She loves helping people to achieve their goals and at the same time, she loves making them feel welcomed, happy, and satisfied with their outcomes.
Outside of work Flavia enjoys playing her guitar, going for a hike, bike riding, and swimming, she also loves spending time with friends.
